Welcome to the Department of Educational Policy and Administration at National Chi Nan University (NCNU).
In the Academic year 1997-1998, “Graduate Institute of Educational Policy and Administration” and a Master’s degree program was set up. In the Academic year 2002-2003, a Bachelor’s degree program was set up, and department’s name was changed to “Department of Educational Policy and Administration”. In the Academic year 2005-2006, a Ph.D’s degree program was set up, on the other hand, in the same year, “ educational leadership incubation program of the secondary and elementary schools principals and directors” was set up as a credit course. This was mainly to build up a complete system of Educational Policy and Administration skills in order to foster and train the Chinese people from all classes and kinds of Leadership on Educational administration to be professional and academic researchers of Educational Policy and Administration, as well as to offer currently employed Educational administrative staffs an opportunity to take advanced studies, and lastly to promote the international exchange and cooperation in researches on Educational Policy and Administration.
